According to this article, the word "teabagger" was considered for the New Oxford American Dictionary 2009 Word of the Year. We are called teabaggers, rednecks, and of course, racists. We are dismissed and ridiculed by the media (Charles Gibson said he was "purposely oblivious" to 9/12 tea parties in Washington). The speaker of the House called us Nazis. The president said we should just shut up. Well, the evidence so far is that all that doesn't matter. Victories in New Jersey, Virginia, and a close one in NY-23 are just the beginning. The latest obvious lying about job creation, the dithering on Afghanistan (Obama says he is "very close" to making a decision and will make an announcement "in the next several weeks" --no dithering or contradiction there), the healthcare scam, the cap and tax bill, the bowing, etc. have opened even more eyes to the Leftists' aims and failures. As the Left witnesses their power slipping away in 2010, they will continue to deride and slander. And it still won't matter. ©2009 Ritty77

Progressives are in a bad place right now. Their beliefs are based upon a failed ideology that historically has brought nothing but poverty, misery and death to all but the privileged ruling class. They managed to take advantage of voter discontent by promising change, and they already see their dreams being replaced by the reality that their ideology doesn’t bring the happy unicorns, peace and love they longed for.
They are left with nothing but attacking the opposition, trying to control the news, and ever increasing the con they are trying to pull on us.

One comment for you Olbermann. The people are individuals. It doesn't matter what their skin color is. Looking at a crowd and trying to determine the percentages of skin colors--as you do--is racism. You and you're ilk apparently will never get it.
Olby, stick to the sports and oddball news stories that you do so well, in my opinion. Your asshole shows when you talk politics.
