I'm beginning to think that Sarah may end up being our best choice in 2012. She sure outshines the competitation at this point.

Beginning? Phil, that was apparent to me a LONG time ago. She's the only one willing to stand up to the vicious weasels on the left and give it right back to them. Disregard anything you hear in the MSM about her being down in polls, etc.; she's the only political figure out there who consistently fills (and has to turn away people who can't get in) any venue she speaks at. When she announces, you will see major commitments from a very large number of people to work for her election, I guarantee it. Mark my words.

I think the main question right along has been how electable she is. She not only has to appeal to Tea Party types, but a sufficient number of other voters. The video shows she has come a long way toward reaching electability. The main hurdle will be the GOP establishment. First, she has to get nominated.
Actually, I think that Elmer Fudd could beat Obama right now.

The GOP establishment will fight against her, definitely. However, in 2010 we showed that we can take the GOP establishment down whenever we set our minds to it. Once she announces, the nomination is hers to lose, I think.

I don’t think they can get away with calling her dumb anymore, and there’s nothing left to dig up from her personal life, so they will probably paint her as a religious fanatic. If that sticks with a lot of middle of the road and moderates it could be enough to keep her from being nominated unless she can convince them she wouldn’t push her religious ideology if elected.
It worked for JFK.

Just mho, but if Palin is the Republican nominee, Obama gets a second term. She is about as electable as Christine O'Donnel was in Delaware.
I have listened to her speak and give numerous interviews and I will not vote for her. Scripted speeches and talking points she is OK, on the fly speeches and interviews she is not so impressive. She has not impressed me at all and we don't need another "idol" in the White House.

Sorry to hear that, Gavin. I think you're on the wrong side of things, though. You have clearly misunderstood her, as she is quite impressive when not being filtered by the hostile MSM. Vote for whomever you like, but don't be surprised to hear President Palin in 2013.

There are a number of other Republicans out there who are much more qualified than Palin, although I will admit not all of them will run or be able to energize the base. but don't be surprised to hear President Palin in 2013. I would take that bet that we won't.

If I were a betting man, I'd give it to you. But I'm not.

People who think as Gavin does will be Sarah’s biggest obstacle to overcome. It remains to be seen if she is capable of doing it. She sure won’t be getting any help from the establishment and the MSM.
