We’ll be getting visitors and maybe some new members from the SG site. We’ll all have to be very careful to follow our own rules and treat them with respect; whether we agree with them or not.
It should make things more interesting for all of us.

;)I just hopped on the SG site and John copied and pasted many of our comments on the thread about Pseudo Science...Has anyone seen it yet? The posting of what is said here has nothing to do with the SG letter, his rage is uncontrollable. It's your fault Phil, :Once you invited some to come here, jealousy reared its ugly head and he unleashed venom again...
Todd, be glad you didn't start posting over there...I'm finding I post less and less, can't take the ignorance and nasty commentary, constantly...

People can see through John’s postings for themselves. As for Chuck, he’s never really understood that a rational discussion goes beyond claiming the other side does it too.
There are some pretty reasonable people posting at the SG site and we’re offering them a place to post without the noise generated by a few at the SG site.
As for anyone trying to come here to stir up trouble, we’ve got rules against that sort of thing and we’ll enforce them. After a while they’ll lose interest and go back to other sites and cry about how unreasonable we are.
I won’t miss them.

CMReeder wrote: It [sic] to [sic] bad that people like Ritty doesn't [sic] understand women's issues let alone health issues, let alone privacy issues. To [sic] bad he does not understand what big government relly [sic] means. This was in response to my comment that it's really pathetic that the Left calls abortion a "healthcare" issue. The intellectual sloth reflected in CMReeder's above post is reason enough to just ignore his statements as uneducated tripe, but I'll explain anyhow. It's just logic. No morals involved. No "understanding" of women's issues or "privacy" is necessary. Healthcare is about promoting, maintaining, and improving health. Unless a child is aborted to save the life (health) of the mother, there is no "healthcare" involved with an abortion (except for what is needed because of the procedure itself). Calling abortion a healthcare issue is pure fiction and spin. Having CMReeder disagree with my opinion only reinforces its truth.

Todd, be glad you didn't start posting over there...I'm finding I post less and less, can't take the ignorance and nasty commentary, constantly... Yeah, I saw that. What a clown. I haven't posted over there all week (I think), several days at least. The most I'm doing is reading the letters and comments and usually hitting the Disagree button on all of Hilfirnut's and Hayes and CMReeder's comments. Anyone else ever notice up at the top of the SG site where it says Welcome [your user name here] followed by buttons to go to your account etc. that it might say something other than your user name? Twice now when I looked up there I saw different names. A couple weeks ago when I moved my mouse up that way to click on my account I noticed the SG had me "signed in" as Gavin; today I was Mike Kerstetter. Once I clicked the my account button it took me to my screen and showed me as leisuresuitlarry, so obviously I'm not really signed in as anyone else, but for some reason the site doesn't refresh from a previous user or something.

I essentially ignore the noise at the SG site, but once in a while there’s an opening I take advantage of. I’m also trying to encourage SG commenters to join us here.

I see ChuckFace continues to say that the GOP has done nothing to create jobs, etc. Does he not realize that they have passed bills toward these goals, but since they control only the House, they cannot move their policies forward.
I have explained this to him before. Can he really be that stupid?

Objectivity and party partisanship aren’t compatible and they don’t get much more partisan than Chuck.

Might I also note that the Lefty comments on the SG seem to totally ignore the meaning of the November 2010 election results. It's like it never happened. They're all just blowing smoke.
They've changed nothing to improve on that election, and even with Obama's "gutsy" call on Osama, the economy will be center stage.
Voters need to ask the old question about whether they're better off. They also need to ask themselves if they want Obama in office without the constraints of being re-elected.
No. And NO!
