Well the latest economic numbers are in and they’re all bad. It looks like a double dip recession is here.
I don’t see how the MSN and the left will be able to put a positive spin on that, so they’ll probably just ignore it and deny it. Anyway it’s looking real bad for Obama’s reelection.
Now, if the GOP can finally nominate a decent candidate we might just see things improve after 2012.

Actually, I’d like to see Palin or Cain at this point in time, but I also want to see Obama defeated. It’s still too soon to tell just who can best do that.

I saw the new "Gibbs" this morning still blaming Bush for the economy. When is any of this mess going to be Obama's?

Gallup Poll: Any GOP Candidate Could Beat Obama Friday, 17 Jun 2011 09:12 AM
By Dave Eberhart
According to the latest Gallup poll, President Barack Obama would lose to an unnamed Republican candidate if the election were held today.
• Forty-four percent of respondents said they would vote for a Republican candidate when asked whom they would support in the 2012 election.
•Thirty-nine percent of participants said they would vote for Obama, while 18 percent of respondents said they had no opinion.
The no-named-Republican survey seems to fly in the face of other recent polls that have Obama prevailing in matchups with the current field of Republican candidates.
• An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll indicates that Obama would beat Republican Mitt Romney, 49 percent to 43 percent.
• The same poll indicates that Obama would win against Republican Tim Pawlenty by 50 percent to 39 percent.
The fact that a generic Republican candidate fares better than any of the actual Republican candidates seems to indicate a general dissatisfaction with the Republican field.
