Oh Doug, I believe they know exactly what they are doing. Even you have to admit, this was a good political bump. What is disheartening is the thousands of people who incurred the wrath of Al Qaeda on 911 and too have this hope of closure to be a lie. I saw how ruthless he can be, but this goes beyond the pale. It involves human emotions, not to speak of the legality issues or the scope of those involved. I actually find this repulsive that he would use this tactic for the sake of his political agenda.

“I am perplexed how they got so much wrong,” she added. “I don't think it takes away from their achievement. I think that criticism will be relatively short-lived. However, for those people who might be critics of the administration, or have a little bit of distrust for the stories that are coming out of the White House, this will feed that. And it doesn't help build credibility.”
I think that pretty well sums it up; especially since their credibility is already so low.

Hard to believe that the "official" story of the assassination is so screwed up when they were watching it unfold in front of them.

And, Todd, maybe it did happen in front of them....photo op....the problem is, when was this reel actually made? I would suggest to you that the discrepancies are because this entire thing has been staged to up the poll numbers...think about the players you see in the pic....is there a single one of them you put any stock for "truth" in?
